Art at Falmouth has a long and distinguished reputation and continues to grow and develop to meet the challenges of the contemporary art world. Complex and diverse, the learning environment seeks to engage with perceptions and challenge assumptions. As such, students are provided with the opportunity to experiment, to explore and to create the unexpected.
Located in the historic art school environment of our Falmouth Campus, our art courses offer a rich and diverse creative environment, employing a range of practices that include drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, sound art, and digital/time-based media.
Students also benefit from talks by a host of acclaimed artists, sculptors and curators. Including Martin Creed, Charles Esche, Simon Fujiwara, Alex Katz, Cornelia Parker, Gavin Turk, and Richard Wentworth.
