You'll have access to thousands of tools, resources and e-learning to help you realise your potential and secure your career. Looking to gain real-world experience alongside your studies?
Our RealWORKS Micro-Internships offer you a unique working experience. You'll get the opportunity to apply to a paid internship that'll develop your professional skills over a period of 2-6 weeks. You'll complete 30 paid hours over that period and learn a host of industry skills.
Who are Micro-Internships for?
The scheme is open to all current Falmouth University students and we particularly welcome applications from underrepresented Falmouth students who are keen to develop their career readiness.
Our 'doing it for real' approach means that students leave Falmouth with an entrepreneurial spirit and creative flair. We produce future-proofed graduates who excel both as employers and employees. Our graduate community is bustling with complex problem solvers and multi-disciplinary team players. Shaped through partnering with industry, Falmouth students and graduates are original and courageous thinkers, who feed the future of industry, not its past.

Some helpful guidelines before registering:
- At Falmouth, we believe in equal opportunity for all students and therefore will only promote paid positions. Roles must meet the UK national living wage, or international equivalent.
- During term-time, it is recommended that current students only work 15 hours per week.
- The job board is frequented by graduates and alumni seeking full-time and part-time roles, please also consider posting more experienced roles alongside entry-level positions.
- We are committed to providing students access to great opportunities across the industry and are proud to work with real living wage and disability confident employers.

We're delighted to be launching a project-based, micro-internship scheme with subsidised funding for businesses from September 2021.
We're inviting local, regional, and national businesses to partner with us to create opportunities for our students to work on dedicated projects, helping your team launch new initiatives or sustain existing projects.
- Funding available to support creative internships within your business
- Internships to address clearly defined, innovative project briefs, suitable for students applying for their first graduate-level role
- An internship is 30 hours to be completed within 2-6 weeks
- Internships can be remote, face-to-face or a hybrid
- Students will be paid at the Real National Living Wage rate
