Studying a degree in Communication, Media or Writing is more than just crafting the perfect poem or headline; it teaches you to see the world differently.

Career options

You might choose to study a Communication, Media or Writing degree with ambitions of becoming an author or professional writer, but the career opportunities extend far beyond this. Graduates from these disciplines go on to work across a wide range of creative, digital and strategic roles.

As the digital media landscape continues to evolve, demand is growing for skilled communicators and storytellers who can create content that cuts through the noise. A degree in Communication or Media can lead to careers in advertising, digital marketing, content creation and multimedia production.

With organisations placing increasing importance on their online presence, talented writers are sought after as copywriters, web editors, PR officers and content creators, helping brands connect meaningfully with their audiences.

Journalism graduates can specialise in areas such as broadcast journalism, investigative reporting or emerging fields like data journalism.
