Fine Art: Adam R Grose

Artist statement

Adam's practice is in response to the world we inhabit. His observations of the world, through imagery appropriated from various Mass-Media, explores our past and present culture, seeking what was missed on its first reading, exploring the space (and time) of our participation with these images.

His current research with printed and digital photographic images explores the role of mass-produced images and their representation; exploring saturation, layering and the manipulation of information, both textual and visual, and how it affects our perception, negotiation and memory of reality through re-investigation and re-interpretation via painting, printing and alternative media.
