With a fully equipped digital newsroom, recording studios with Newswire access and podcasting facilities and a dedicated Writers Room, which also plays host to workshops and events, you'll have all the tools you need to hone your creative craft.

Writers in Residence programme


As well as offering opportunities to connect with industry leaders through visiting speakers, placements and the chance to work in live projects, we also run a Writers in Residence programme, which brings acclaimed writers – including Xan Brooks, Alice Oswald and Lionel Shriver – to your doorstep. Each writer brings their unique and world-class expertise and talent to deliver workshops and tutorials to current students.
