2. Penryn Campus, Treliever Road, Penryn, Cornwall TR10 9FE

By train

Rail companies operate regular services to Truro from all major British cities. The service from London Paddington to Truro normally takes just over four hours. Change at Truro for branch line services to Falmouth and Penryn. From Truro, the journey times are approximately 20 minutes to Falmouth Town, and 15 minutes to Penryn.

If you are arriving at London Gatwick airport, it is possible to travel to Falmouth by train via Reading. This cuts out the need to travel across London on the underground.

Travel with GWR and get 20% off Advance Purchase fares when you visit Falmouth for an Open Day

This GWR offer is open to prospective students, their family and friends.

By road

Take the A30 from Exeter or the A38 from Plymouth, which joins the A30 at Bodmin. Continue along the A30 and, at the wind farm, watch out for the signpost for the A3076 to Truro. Take this road to Truro where it joins the A39 to Falmouth.

For the Penryn Campus, take the first exit at the Treliever roundabout (about 9 miles from Truro) and approximately 150 metres further, turn right where signposted into the campus. Penryn Campus has a pay on exit car park.

For the Falmouth Campus, continue on the A39 into Falmouth. Once in Falmouth, locate the Dell pay and display public car park next to Falmouth Town station (shown on the printable map above), then please use the footpaths shown to reach the University reception.

National Express Coaches also run daily services to Falmouth. Local bus services run between both campuses.

By plane

Flights operate between Cornwall Airport Newquay and London Heathrow, Birmingham, Manchester and Leeds Bradford airports. The flights takes about an hour and Cornwall Airport Newquay is approximately 25 miles from Falmouth and Penryn.

The only way you can travel from Cornwall Airport Newquay to Falmouth is by bus, taxi or hire car. Bus services are infrequent: it would be advisable to telephone Traveline on 0870 608 2 608 or visit traveline.org.uk for details of services, times and fares. Taxis must be booked in advance and the fare to Falmouth will probably cost between £45 and £55.

Exeter and Bristol airports operate daily international flights to Europe and beyond. Regular train services run from Bristol Temple Meads and Exeter St Davids rail stations to Falmouth and Penryn via Truro.
