Since graduating, Rex has gone on to become a leading creative within the UK games industry. Known professionally as Rexbox, he's been named a British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Breakthrough Brit and has collected three BAFTA awards for games.
A frequent contributor to MTV, Disney, BBC, Microsoft and Virgin Records, Rex currently works for the Sony owned game developers, Media Molecule. Playing a figurative role within the company, he's helped devise the multi-award winning LittleBigPlanet series, and most recently was creative lead on Tearaway – a papercraft platformer for PlayStation.
Rex returned to Falmouth in 2014, delivering a keynote address at Falmouth's Fascinate conference, whilst also taking the chance to share his professional insight with current students. The double alumnus comments, "Falmouth was the perfect environment for me to develop my ideas and visual style. It's a little more personal and unusual, and I think that comes through in the work of all its students, past and present."
