Falmouth University is offering 15 scholarships of £2,000 each to its most talented undergraduate students who will be starting their first year of study with us in September 2026. 

Amount: £2,000

Who it's for: International offer holders paying international fees applying for a full-time on-campus taught Bachelors course, demonstrating exceptional talent.

Please note students can only receive one scholarship each. The sum will be applied by the University as a £2,000 credit towards the second instalment of the student's tuition fees. It will be deducted from the total remaining fees payable. 

The scholarship will be awarded for one year only, it is not a recurring award. 

Eligibility

  •  
  • Qualify for the International fee rate (it therefore does not include anyone paying Home fees) 
  • Be new to Falmouth University in 2026/27 
  • 2025/2026 deferred/reinstated offer holders may also be considered for the scholarship 
  • Self-funding only 
  • Hold an offer for a full-time Bachelors course studied on campus (not online), starting in September 2026 
  • Have received an offer by 3rd April 2026 at 23:59 GMT 
  • Have completed the scholarship application by 6th April 2026 at 23:59 GMT

How to apply

All applicants for the Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship will be automatically considered for this award if applicable. There is no separate scholarship application for the International Talent Scholarship. 

Outcome

Eligible offer holders who have received an offer by 23:59 BST on 3 April 2026 and who have submitted a Vice-Chancellor Scholarship application by 23:59 BST on 6 April 2026 will be considered for the scholarship if they are not awarded a Vice-Chancellor Scholarship.  

Each scholarship will be attributed based on the following criteria: 

  • Scholarship application 
  • Admission review 

A reserve list will also be created based on the same criteria. 

The International team will inform successful applicants of outcomes by 17 April 2026.  

Successful applicants will be permitted until 1st May 2026 to accept their offer and to claim the scholarship. Accepting an offer includes paying the acceptance fee (deposit) if applicable.  

Any unclaimed scholarships will be reallocated according to the reserve list, and recipients will be required to claim their scholarship and to pay any outstanding acceptance fee within 10 (ten) days. 

Successful applicants will be contacted by phone and email, using the details provided at application. Please ensure your correct phone number (including your country code) appears on your application. The University’s decision relating to International Talent Scholarships is final.

  • As the university only has a limited number of scholarships available, please only make an application if you can afford tuition fees and living costs 
  • We do not offer full scholarships for September 2026 entry 
  • The International Talent Scholarship cannot be offered in combination with any other Falmouth university scholarships 
  • The scholarship cannot be deferred. 

Falmouth University reserves the right to take back the scholarship award if: 

  • We find that you are ineligible 
  • You break the terms and conditions of the scholarship 
  • There is a misrepresentation and fraud in your application 
  • Your course is no longer available 
  • You do not pay all of the tuition fees by the University’s deadlines 
  • The University disciplinary panel upholds a serious misconduct charge 
  • Fail to meet or maintain UK Student Visa requirements
