Alumni Referral Discounts

Falmouth University is offering discounts of £380 each to students joining an on-campus Bachelors or taught Masters degree in September 2027 following a referral by one of our alumni.

Amount: £380

Who it's for: International fee status students joining a full-time on-campus taught undergraduate or postgraduate degree in September 2027 following referral by Falmouth University alumni.

This sum will be applied by the University as a credit towards the second instalment of the student's tuition fees. It will be deducted from the total remaining fees payable. 

Please note students can combine the discount with any other scholarships applicable. The scholarship does not apply to online courses. 

• Qualify for the International fee rate (it therefore does not include anyone paying Home fees)
• Undertake a full-time on-campus taught undergraduate or postgraduate degree following successful study with one of our partners 
• Be referred by an alumni of Falmouth University 
• Be a new student to Falmouth University in 2027 
• The award is not open to current staff or students of Falmouth University 
• Join the course in September 2027 
• Applicable for the first year of study at Falmouth University 

Offer holders who have been referred by Falmouth alumni should write to international@falmouth.ac.uk to request this discount prior to enrolment. Please add “Alumni Referral Discount” as the email subject header and include the details of the Falmouth alumni who has referred you using the following format:

All referrals will be verified with the referrer using the contact details provided so please ensure this is accurate and that the referrer is aware they will receive an email from the University. 

Outcome

Students who have already received an offer and have paid their acceptance fee will be eligible for the discount. If it is not automatically applied, please contact our international team. The University’s decision relating to Alumni Referral Discounts is final.

• The award is subject to verification – a notification will be sent to the recipient following verification. 
• The award cannot be deferred. 

Falmouth University reserves the right to take back the scholarship award if: 

• We find that you are ineligible 
• You break the terms and conditions of the scholarship 
• There is a misrepresentation or fraud in your application 
• Your course is no longer available 
• You do not pay all of the tuition fees by the University’s deadlines 
• The University disciplinary panel upholds a serious misconduct charge 
• You fail to meet or maintain UK Student Visa requirements
