She's currently undertaking a research studentship at Goldsmiths funded by the Arts Council. Her research has taken her to Gaza, Bucharest, Berlin and Derry as she delves deeper into her PhD on 'The Choreographic Apparatus: new methodologies in conflict resolution'.
"My perception of interdisciplinarity – which underlines all my work – emerged in full during my time at the University College. The definition of choreography expanded beyond any existing preconception I had. I found a solid group of diverse and inspiring folk from all courses, not just choreography, and collaborated with Fine Art, Theatre and Music students to experiment and test our boundaries."
Beatrice gained BA(Hons) Choreography with Visual Art Practices, now BA(Hons) Choreography.
