Do you have a passion for performance or ever dreamt of taking on a lead role in a musical? Now is your chance to turn on the spotlight and take part in a production of Legally Blonde Jr.

Following the success of our 2025 summer school, Falmouth University and Hall for Cornwall have rejoined forces to run another exciting 6-day summer school in August 2026. Working with expert professionals you will have the chance put your creativity to practice through singing, acting and dance, all culminating with a public performance of Legally Blonde Jr. on Saturday 22 August.

Summer school dates, costs and instalment payment options:

Summer school dates:

  • Casting day: Monday 27 July 2026 in the afternoon (exact times TBC)
  • Summer school: Monday 17 - Saturday 22 August 2026
  • Performance: Saturday 22 August 2026 at 19:00

Summer school cost and instillment payment plan options:

  • £250 per person

There is an instalment payment plan option available for the summer school. After making the first payment of £100 you can split the final balance across 3 months at £50. If you wish to pay via an instalment plan, the payments will need to be made with the following payment schedule:

  • First payment of £100 due by 17th April 2026*
  • Second payment of £50 due by 15th May 2026
  • Third payment of £50 due by 17th June
  • Fourth, and final, payment of £50 due by 17th July

*The option to pay via the instalment payment plan will close on 17th April 2026.

Musical Theatre Summer School booking terms and conditions:

There are a specific set of terms and conditions in place for booking for the Musical Theatre Summer School. These can be found by clicking here and you will be required to opt into these at the point of booking onto the summer school.

Summer school location:

This summer school and the performance of Legally Blonde Jr. is being delivered at the AMATA Arts Centre, in the purpose built studios, (Falmouth University, Penryn Campus) and not at Hall for Cornwall in Truro.

Age suitability:

This summer school is suitable for young people at secondary school and in further education (under the age of 18). It is also suitable for young people who are leaving primary school at the end of the 2025-2026 academic year and starting secondary school in September 2026.
