Creative Rise Cornwall: Open Studio

Creative Rise Cornwall is an artist development initiative nurturing the next generation of dance and theatre artists in the region. Now in its second year, a brand new cohort of emerging artists are taking part in our free six-month programme.

The programme begins with an intensive two-week Physical Theatre LAB, where the cohort alternate between Workshop Days, led by an exciting line-up of guest artists, and Making Days, giving them the opportunity to immediately explore and apply the tools, techniques, and ideas introduced in each workshop through collaborative devising.

The Open Studio is an opportunity to experience the culmination of this creative process, meet the 2026 cohort, and celebrate the work they have developed together over the two weeks. Following the sharing, there will be time for conversation, connection, and informal networking over drinks and nibbles.

This event is free to attend and open to all, but booking is essential. We especially welcome industry professionals, producers, programmers, and arts organisations interested in supporting or collaborating with Creative Rise Cornwall and its cohort of emerging artists.
