About the rooms
In Glasney Student Village, there are single and shared rooms. Both can be chosen as either a catered or non-catered option.
More info
Glasney Student Village has a mixture of single occupancy and shared occupancy rooms.
All rooms are en-suite. This includes a toilet, sink and shower.
All rooms are in shared flats, with shared kitchens and communal spaces.
Shared rooms are cheaper than our other accommodation options.
These clever rooms have studybeds which can rotate between a single bed or a large desk. The best part? You don't even need to clear your desk before rotating it into a bed. Check out the gallery to see these shared occupancy studybed rooms.
If you don't want to worry about cooking each night then you can choose a catered option. "Catered" means some of your meals are provided as part of your accommodation package.
For more information, you can look at our catered halls page.
We have a number of rooms that can be adapted for students with additional requirements. They include the same shared facilities, but may have things such as grab rails or en-suite wet rooms.
If you have specific medical needs you'll be able to put this in your application, and we encourage you to do this as soon as possible to make sure we can provide you with accommodation you're comfortable with.
