The Sidings offers student accommodation in shared flats and a small number of self-contained single occupancy studios are also available.
Shared flats have en-suite bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and communal area with a TV. Single occupancy studios offer a kitchenette, bathroom and bedroom/living area.

Where is it?
The Sidings is located a short distance from Penryn campus and the town. It’s also right next to Penryn train station and walking distance from bus stops to travel into Falmouth.

The rooms at The Sidings are en-suite bedrooms in shared flats and a small number of self-contained studio’s are also available.
The shared flats include en-suite bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen and a communal living area with a TV, for between four - seven students. Each self-contained studio includes a kitchenette, bathroom and bedroom/living area.

We have a number of rooms that can be adapted for students with additional requirements. They include the same facilities, but may have things such as grab rails or en-suite wet rooms.
If you have specific medical needs you'll be able to put this in your application and we'd encourage you to do this as soon as possible. Our friendly Accommodation Team will then get in touch to discuss what you need.

When applying for The Sidings you will see a price range and a list of room types. You will only be able to apply for a standard room however those students that are allocated to this residence will be allocated any one of those room types. Studios will be prioritised for those students with a disability or medical related condition.

Utilities are included within a certain quota. If your accommodation exceeds that you may have to pay additional charges.
Free 5Mbps Wi-Fi throughout is included in the utilities. Upgraded internet speeds are available at an additional cost for all 40 week tenancies.
The insurance cover is a basic policy and you may wish to extend this cover to ensure all your belongings are covered. For further information regarding insurance cover please click here.
