The Sidings offers student accommodation in shared flats, and a small number of self-contained single occupancy studio flats.

Shared flats are shared between four and seven students, and have en-suite bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and communal area.

Single occupancy studio flats offer a kitchenette, bathroom and combined bedroom/living area.

Where is it?

The Sidings is located a short distance from Penryn Campus and Penryn town. It’s located right next to Penryn train station, and walking distance from bus stops that travel into Falmouth town and Falmouth Campus.

The rooms at The Sidings are single occupancy en-suite bedrooms in shared flats. There are also a small number of self-contained studios flats.

The shared flats include en-suite bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a communal living area with a TV. These flats are shared between four and seven students.

Each self-contained studio flat includes a kitchenette, bathroom and combined bedroom/living area.

We have a number of rooms that can be adapted for students with additional requirements.  They include the same shared facilities, but may have things such as grab rails or en-suite wet rooms. 

If you have specific medical needs you'll be able to put this in your application, and we encourage you to do this as soon as possible to make sure we can provide you with accommodation that meets your needs.

When applying for The Sidings you will see a price range and a list of room types. You will only be able to apply for a standard room however those students that are allocated to this residence will be allocated any one of those room types. Studio flats will be prioritised for students with a disability or medical condition.

Utilities are included within a certain quota. If your accommodation exceeds that you may have to pay additional charges.

Free 5Mbps Wi-Fi throughout is included in the utilities. Upgraded internet speeds are available at an additional cost for all 40 week tenancies.
