This course introduces step-by-step techniques for interior designers to successfully use Adobe Photoshop to visually communicate their design concepts.

You'll be introduced to fundamental tools and techniques that will help you take the quality of your presentations to the next level. Start by learning how to eliminate and add elements into different compositions before discovering how to create and utilise patterns. By the end of the course, you'll have developed a skillset that will help you to tackle everyday image manipulation for your interior design.

Course details

The course will equip you to use Photoshop to enhance your interior design projects effectively. You'll learn to improve images by removing distractions, adding colour and texture, and creating realistic scenes. It will provide you with essential skills to elevate your design presentations and create visually compelling interiors.

How you'll learn

Our online courses are delivered through Microsoft Teams, ensuring a seamless learning experience. Each session starts with a live broadcast from the tutor to introduce the topic and guide you through the resources. Our courses include various learning methods such as videos, quizzes and exercises. The tutor remains available online for real-time support, making learning effective and enjoyable. Our blended teaching approach combines live and pre-recorded content, providing flexibility to learn at your own pace.

Lisa joined Falmouth University as a Digital Skills Trainer in 2019 and delivers a wide range of digital skills courses to students, staff, and external delegates. Her key areas of expertise include Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Rush, Adobe Express, and Canva. With a background in graphic design, Lisa brings industry knowledge and valuable design and layout skills to her training sessions.
