To get the most from this course, it’s recommended that attendees have previously completed the Create Compelling Social Media Content with Canva course (or have equivalent experience), as the session builds on those core skills. Participants will also need a Canva account to follow along and complete practice tasks — a free Canva account is perfectly suitable.

By the end of this course, you’ll be able to create more polished, consistent, and professional social media content in Canva. You’ll learn how to move beyond templates, apply your own branding, design high-impact posts and carousels, and refine animations and short-form videos. The course also covers smarter workflows and content repurposing to help you create engaging social media content more efficiently.

With a background in graphic design, Lisa brings industry knowledge and valuable design and layout skills to her training sessions.

How you'll learn

Our online short courses are delivered through Canvas, our online learning platform, with scheduled tutor-led sessions delivered through BigBlueButton, a browser-based online meeting tool, ensuring a seamless learning experience. Each session begins with a live online session where the tutor introduces the topic and guides learners through the course materials. Learning is supported through a range of methods, including videos and practical exercises, with tutors available throughout the session to provide guidance and answer questions. Our blended teaching approach combines live tutor support with high-quality online learning resources, creating an engaging and supportive learning experience.
