Travel and Transport

At our campuses, sustainable travel is at the heart of how we move. We make it easy for students, staff, and visitors to choose greener options, with a range of convenient and environmentally friendly transport services available. Whether you're commuting by bus, train, bike, or electric vehicle, you’ll find plenty of ways to travel efficiently while reducing your carbon footprint.

Bus

First Bus (previously Kernow) run the main routes between the main locations across Cornwall. We recommend downloading the Transport for Cornwall app where you can get access to journey planners, bus times, bundle discounts and live bus arrival updates to avoid waiting times. Any tickets or bundles bought via this app are interoperable, which means you can use your ticket on any type of bus operator.

Frequent routes & bundles available:

  • For anyone aged between 16-18, travelling between Penryn & Falmouth, an unlimited 7 day bundle will cost £16 where a day pass will cost £6
  • For anyone aged between 19-25, an unlimited 7 day bundle will cost £20, a day pass will cost £5

For any queries, please contact our team at sustainability@fxplus.ac.uk where you can talk directly to our staff for any support you need.
