Check you meet the entry requirements for your chosen course. You'll find the entry requirements on the course page.
Applying with an Accreditation of Prior Learning
Depending on the course you want to study, you can apply with an Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL) if you do not meet the standard entry requirements.
This is particularly useful for those who may have been away from education for a longer period of time, or have a non-standard educational background.
You'll need to write a personal statement to accompany your application. This is your opportunity to tell us about yourself and what you'll bring to the course.
You'll need to get the following documents together for your application:
- A scanned copy of proof of identification (such as a passport)
- Scanned copies of transcripts and previous qualifications
Prepare your portfolio or writing sample (applicable to certain courses only).
You'll find out what your course may require on the course page.
Select two references to support your application. You'll need one academic reference and one professional.
Now you're all ready, submit your application by heading to your chosen course page and selecting 'Apply'.
Chat to your dedicated Applicant Support Officer, who will support you as the application for your chosen course progresses.
