Industry visit: ARRI visit gives School of Film & Television students a career boost

After a thorough practical demonstration by the ARRI team, students got the chance to handle the kit first-hand, and – with support of Lecturer Nick Manley – get an additional camera system short course accreditation courtesy of ARRI.  

With the course designed to demonstrate the students’ professional competency with ARRI camera systems, this is a vital part of the skills toolkit students have on graduation, and a worthy addition to their professional CVs. 

“Becoming accredited by ARRI has forged an ongoing relationship that brings current industry practice directly to our students,” says Nick. “It’s fantastic exposure for us and the students involved, especially as ARRI UK are planning to run their own social media story about their day in Falmouth with our cinematography students, too.”
