BA(Hons) Popular Music graduate Dom Mckiernan has joined the independent production network Stink Films as a music video executive producer, following three years at Warner Records.
Having started life in the industry as an intern at Island Records in 2016, Dom's career has continued to go from strength to strength. The experience he gained at Island Records took him into a position with Warner Music Group, and after a stint in the Warner marketing department Dom was able to take up a role as a visual creative coordinator.
Dom's love for music videos, coupled with his understanding of the market, has enabled him to take up his new position with Stink Films. In his new role Dom will spend his time supporting the creative development of London's Stink Music Video department.
Stink Films have a significant array of talent at their disposal; in the last year alone, the company has produced video releases for the likes of Masego, Greentea Peng and Wesley Joseph.
Dom is no stranger to producing work for big names in the music industry. For the last two years, in his role as a creative commissioner at Warner Records, he worked with artists such as Griff, Priya Ragu, Biffy Clyro, Foals, Royal Blood and HYYTS.
We're thrilled to have Dom on the team, he'll bring a wealth of experience and creative energy from his successful commissioning stint at Warner Records and will be a fantastic support to our roster of Directors.
Dom sees the range of gifted artists signed to Stink Films as an exciting prospect. Commenting on Stink Films, Dom has said "I'm deeply proud to be joining the Stink family. They're home to an unparalleled roster of talent, whose music video careers I look forward to nurturing and supporting."
Hannah Bellil, Global Head, Stink Rising & Music Video, said "We're thrilled to have Dom on the team, he'll bring a wealth of experience and creative energy from his successful commissioning stint at Warner Records and will be a fantastic support to our roster of Directors."
