Andrea Arnold is amongst the most exciting writer-directors of an exceptional generation of contemporary British women filmmakers. Andrea has crafted both the shorts and features Milk, Wasp, Red Road, Fish Tank, Wuthering Heights and the forthcoming American Honey. Amongst her numerous tributes, she was awarded the 2005 Oscar for Wasp in the short film category and the Cannes Film Festival Grand Jury prize for Fish Tank in 2009.
Andrea will explore her work as a filmmaker, discuss her creative pre-production process in scripting and preparing American Honey for shooting this spring, and reflect on her cultural activities as a Cannes Juror among other high-profile festival roles and honours.
