Join us to write a complete short screenplay over this eight-week online short course, learning the core principles that underpin effective screen storytelling. Each week you’ll explore a different element of the craft, from building compelling characters and shaping a clear narrative arc to writing efficient scenes that move the story forward.
We recommend that each week will require approximately 10 hours of study which can be done at your own pace at a time that suits you.

All activities in this course are self-paced so you can fit the course in around your commitments, and you will have access to the course for a further 4-weeks after the end date. We suggest that you allow around 10 hours per week of study on top of the live webinars and drop-in sessions below.

Feedback rounds:
You'll submit work at the end of week 4, and again after your unsupervised study at the end of week 12. You'll receive written feedback at the end of the following week from both submissions.

This is a fully online course and can be undertaken from any location with a suitable internet connection.
