It's time to celebrate as we honour our 2018 graduates this week (17 – 20 July).

Over the past few days undergraduates and postgraduates have been enjoying the celebration of their achievements alongside their peers, friends, families, academics and Chancellor Dawn French.

Each graduate was personally congratulated by Dawn, who presented each of them with a degree scroll and a unique chocolate coin known as a 'Dawn Doubloon'.

During her address to the Class of 2018, Dawn said: "In this room today, we are among the creatives, the dreamers, the game-changers, the artists of the future. You are the visionaries. You are the folk who hold our cultural landscape in the palm of your hands.

You may leave Cornwall but she will never, ever leave you. You will forever carry her with you, the cliffs, the moors, the fudge, the pasties, the surf that kisses the coves and the endless sky with its breath-taking light. You take the turquoise with you. It's Cornwall's gift."

For the second time, the annual celebrations took place on Penryn Campus with the Sports Centre converted for the ceremony, along with marquees and music in the Italian Gardens, local food vendors and a grand carousel open to all!

Congratulations to all our graduates.
