Eligibility
You will be eligible to attend your graduation if you successfully complete your studies. If you have not been formally recorded as an Award by the completion of assessment boards in 2021, then unfortunately you will not be able to attend your graduation ceremony and you will have to defer your attendance to 2022.
It is your responsibility to check your results by logging into MyFalmouth once they are released.
If your results outcome is a Refer or Defer, you will not be eligible to graduate and your attendance will be deferred to 2022.
About your degree certificate
Your Name
Your name will appear exactly as it on your student record. It is a legal requirement that the certificate is printed in your full legal name. If you need to make any amendments to your name, please contact student.admin@falmouth.ac.uk.
You must provide Student Administration with a copy of your passport, birth certificate or driving license, to enable us to correct your name.
Your Address
Your degree certificate will be posted to the home address (i.e. not term time address) on your student record. If you need to update your address, please log in to MyFalmouth. Incorrect address details will cause a delay in receiving your certificate.
If you need confirmation of your qualification before August 2021, please contact student.admin@falmouth.ac.uk
Outstanding debts
Any student who has a financial obligation to the University will not be allowed to attend the graduation ceremony nor receive their certificate, so you should rectify this at least one month before the ceremony.
The University will withhold transcripts/certificates and prohibit attendance at the awards ceremony for any student who has an outstanding financial commitment.
Students that have an outstanding fees debt, please either contact the Finance Office +44 1326 213778 or email us.
Alternatively, a direct payment online can be made via the Payment Portal.
For tuition fees debts the details are documented in our Fees Policy 2018/19, available to download below.
