Following the Voices on the Edge Artists residency programme in Summer 2025, we are excited to welcome back sound artist and composer Iris Garrelfs.
Open to women and gender diverse artists, this workshop will explore the wonderful possibilities of the voice in improvisation to create sound, or more to the point, to participate in a process where sound creates itself. This process is very freeing in itself - it includes listening and responding to yourself, each other and the environment. We will draw on several instruction scores, including Pauline Oliveros, Ross Brown and more.
