Ekleido’s workshop draws from our backgrounds combining contemporary dance with underground club dance styles. The workshop involves a mixture of guided improvisation, and short travelling phrases both standing and floorwork, finishing the class with a phrase that combines the movement elements we have explored.
The aim of the workshop is to work on strength, coordination, dynamics and creativity whilst getting a taste for our choreographic language.
Ekleido is a choreographic duo made up of Hannah Ekholm and Faye Stoeser, creating work for both stage and screen. Their distinctive style blends contemporary dance with underground club forms, often collaborating with leading artists from the electronic music scene.
This workshop is delivered in partnership with Hall for Cornwall.
