Postgraduate Online Study | Portfolio Information
At Falmouth, you’ll be part of an engaged, curious and collaborative community. For some of our Postgraduate Online courses we’ll ask you for some additional work.
Click on your course below to see what you’ll need to do next and what you might need to do during your application.
You'll need to submit up to five pages of a script for either radio, TV or film. It's your choice, but it must be a comedy script, not any other genre, that best shows off your comedy writing.
Please also submit a 300-word piece of writing considering an old sitcom which is no longer running. The piece of writing should clearly tell us why you've picked this show for reinvention now. Please describe how you'll modernise and reinvent the show to be a relevant must-watch for today's audience. You should give consideration as to who will star in this production, and your vision for the show.
Your application will be reviewed and then sent to the course team for a decision to be made.
We’ll ask you to provide a piece of work that relates to the moving image, which you have been involved in making. This could include an example of a screenplay, a film, a showreel, or a piece of writing that demonstrates your commitment to the theory of the moving image.
It could include previous project work and/or your current work in progress and could take the form of a link to your blog or website. Please also provide a statement of approximately 250 words that gives information on what your contribution was to this work.
We'll ask you to provide a portfolio of your most recent work when you apply. You'll need to submit a PDF or single link to your online portfolio. Your portfolio should include 10-15 images, films, or audio artworks. All of the pieces should be captioned with their title, material, size, duration, and date. Please also provide a 300-500 word portfolio statement that outlines the ideas and intentions of your practice.
You will need to submit a digital portfolio of your graphic design practice. This may include previous project work and your current work-in-progress. It can take the form of a link to your blog or website and/or be presented as an interactive PDF. This will help the academic team assess your suitability for the MA Graphic Design.
You’ll need to upload a link to a digital portfolio of between 20 and 25 images. Your portfolio should demonstrate both the quality and sophistication of your practice as well as your technical aptitude. You should not attempt to encompass a range of styles, computer programs or genres of illustration but rather try to give a sense of your practice specialisms and your interests as a practitioner.
Your application will be reviewed and then sent to the course team for a decision to be made.

You’ll need to upload a single link to a digital portfolio consisting of two parts. Part one should be approximately 10 images that best demonstrate the breadth of study or professional assignments/commissions. Part two should be around 10 images of your most recent work (from the last 1-2 years) that show your current interests and/or the direction of your practice.
You’ll need to upload 2-3 examples of how you have embedded a sustainable or ethical idea within a project. It should include a 200-300 word description of how sustainable value or process has influenced each project as well as development work or images. You’ll also need to include the final output of each project.
Your application will be reviewed and then sent to the course team for a decision to be made.

It can be an excerpt of a larger piece of writing. You can also submit other pieces of sample writing such as short stories, plays or radio dramas along with your screenplay, to support your application.
You’ll need to demonstrate in your personal statement that you have Level 4 teaching or support in a Higher Education environment in place throughout the course dates.
