John Speakman
Research Student Teaching Associate
John Speakman is a Research Student Teaching Associate with the Games Academy. He joined Falmouth University in May 2016, to study an MA in Business Entrepreneurship, through Launchpad with Falmouth University, during which he co-founded ‘Evnia’, an employee engagement application software business. He holds an MSc in Computer Science, with a focus on artificial intelligence and intelligent agents and a BSc in Computer Science. He specialises in artificial intelligence, intelligent agents, autonomous agent behaviour, geometry, data visualisation and human-computer interaction. He has worked as an artist and animator for vector-based graphics and as an independent game developer. He is currently a PhD student exploring collaborative environment design with artificial life in mixed reality.
