Lecturer

John Speakman is a Lecturer with the Games Academy. He joined Falmouth University in May 2016, to study an MA in Business Entrepreneurship, through Launchpad with Falmouth University, during which he co-founded ‘Evnia’, an employee engagement application software business. He holds an MSc in Computer Science, with a focus on artificial intelligence and intelligent agents and a BSc in Computer Science. He specialises in artificial intelligence, intelligent agents, autonomous agent behaviour, geometry, data visualisation and human-computer interaction. He has worked as an artist and animator for vector-based graphics and as an independent game developer. He is currently a PhD student exploring collaborative environment design with artificial life in mixed reality.
