Falmouth Painting Platform

Exterior of Falmouth campus design building.

Falmouth Painting Platform (FPP) is a group of artists, interested in sharing and discussing contemporary painting practices.

Through exhibition, conference, journal and online forum, this initiative aims to foster vibrant dialogue and lively exchange, holding an open space for diverse voices both within and beyond an academic context. We seek to celebrate and elevate the discourse around painting and its significance today, while also providing professional experiences for students and participants.

The Falmouth Painting Platform will celebrate and interrogate emerging practices of painting in the shifting paradigms of our digital, social-economic, ontological and ecological spaces. The work of the platform aims to be democratic and inclusive in curation and participation.
