Final year student, Dimana Bratanova’s animated film, ‘Crispy Love Line’, has been officially selected for five film festivals, including Short Shot Fest Moscow, Cortos En Cortos, the Lift-Off Sessions, YOUKI International Youth Media Festival and the Manchester Animation Festival.

The film is about a young man with a deep passion for crisps who leaves a comment online, which turns into a one-sided virtual love story.

Dimana said:

Making this film was such a positive experience, and we were lucky for having the best team and classmates to contribute. I believe everyone that worked on it is feeling more confident and motivated going into our final year, as we each saw how our efforts and hard work pays off.

Director, Stefania Bodescu, added: “Despite all the challenges we’re still facing, we plan to use our experience with this film for even more ambitious (and hopefully equally recognised) projects this year.”

Andy Joule, Head of Animation, Prosthetics & Effects at the School of Film and Television said: “I, and the whole team are really proud of the achievements from Dimana and her team. It’s a real testament to their creativity and drive that their second-year film ‘Crispy Love Line’ has been selected by these film festivals to compete against well-established animators and film makers from across the globe.”
