Graphic Design student Danielle White has had her work recognised at the South West Design + Digital Student Awards.

The competition, hosted by Bristol-based marketing and communications agency Proctor + Stevenson, celebrates the best student creativity across the region.

Danielle was one of ten shortlisted in the Graphic Design category. She entered her degree project, 50 Years of Trojan Records, which is a celebratory print piece marking 50 years since the founding of Trojan Records.

Danielle, who graduated last week with a first-class degree, said: "The project compiles some of Trojan's best known singles into pages with a delicate circle of lyrics to work together to show a similar appearance as a vinyl.

"We each had to give a 30-minute pitch of our project to a panel of judges. Whilst I was not a winner of my category, to be shortlisted in the top ten was a great honour and also a great opportunity. I got to meet professionals from various areas of design, and have a project I'm really proud of celebrated.

My work during my time at Falmouth has been quite varied but I approach each of my projects and creations with a sense of care and pride, I aim for strong ideas which are then carefully crafted."
