Alumnus Rex Crowle is up for four awards at this year's British Academy Games Awards.

Knights and Bikes, a game set in Cornwall and made by Rex and his team at Foam Sword, has been shortlisted in the best Debut Game, British Game, Artistic Achievement and Family Game categories.

Rex, who graduated from Graphic Design in 2000, said: "Everyone on the team is so delighted and surprised that 'Knights and Bikes' has been nominated for four BAFTAs! It's a great boost for a small independent game, created on a kitchen table, for it to be listed alongside such incredible titles from studios all over the world.

I'm very proud of my Cornish heritage, and have many happy memories of studying at Falmouth. So much so, that I've designed a whole game about growing up in Cornwall, and how its countryside, history and people can be a very inspirational start on a lifetime's creative journey!"

Rex is already a BAFTA winner – picking up three in 2014 for Tearaway. We hope he'll be receiving more accolades next month!

The BAFTA Game Awards celebrate the very best in games. The awards take place on Thursday 2 April.
