Designer Awarded during Final Year Show

Graphic Design student Jen Marsden is off to Australia after being announced as the proud winner of this year's Tim Coventon Award.

Jen was presented with the £1000 award at the Summer Show opening night on Friday 25 May.

The award was created by Mr and Mrs Coventon in the memory of their late son, Tim, who was a former Falmouth Graphic Design student. 

It enables an outstanding student to undertake a work placement in Sydney – a city with which Tim had a great affinity and where he worked for world-renowned branding companies such as M&C Saatchi.

The placement with a Sydney-based agency will be arranged by Jen in conjunction with the course team, and she will feedback to tutors and students about her experience on her return. Jen plans to travel to Australia early in 2019.
