Kick-start your Salsa journey with this three-day intensive short course, led by our experienced instructor, James (Salsa etc).
The course offers the chance to master the basic footwork and rhythms of Cuban salsa. From dancing in hold to transitioning to the open position (“Casino”) you’ll learn inside and outside turns, whilst being guided on effective leading or following for a seamless social dance experience.
Sessions will be conducted in La Rueda (The Wheel) creating a friendly and inclusive environment for everyone to learn and make new friends, whether attending the course as an individual or couple.
The course takes place in our beautiful studios and will have a relaxed, low-pressure atmosphere with plenty of breaks to help you enjoy the learning process. Cap off each day by practicing to music in a social setting, reinforcing what you’ve learned.
By the end of the course, you’ll feel confident stepping onto the dance floor and joining Cornwall’s thriving community of Salseros!
