A one-day comprehensive introduction to traditional leather bookbinding. Working with master bookbinder Tom O’Reilly, you’ll work with traditional tools and methods on a leather quarter bound binding and leave with your finished book. This course is suitable for those with a little experience already as it’s a more involved day, we recommend that you complete our introduction to book binding before booking onto this course. All bookbinding equipment and materials are included in the price.
Tom O’Reilly M.A has been a book binder for over thirty years and he has taught the art of hand bookbinding, tutored and lectured at BA and MA level.
