Tom Hubmann

Lecturer & Module Leader, Illustration BA(Hons)

Tom Hubmann is a lecturer and module leader on the BA Illustration. He is also a freelance illustrator with over 20 years experience. His current practice and research interests are rooted in a deep connection to conservation, environmental and social affairs.

He graduated from Falmouth University in 2011 and has gone on to work with clients including Friends of the Earth, Shelterbox, Eden Project, Finisterre, Danner Boots, Origins Coffee, Verdant, Die Zeit, Anorak and ARM.

As an academic, he has taught and been a guest speaker at the University of Plymouth, Arts University Plymouth, Arts University Bournemouth, Gloucester University, Middlesex University, Truro College and Bedford College. He holds a PGCAP in Teaching and Learning, is a fellow of the HEA and specialises in Sustainability Education and Conscious Practice.

He is passionate about the power of illustration and education to unlock creative potential, drive change and navigate meaningful futures.
