Martin McQuillan
Director MA in Feature Filmmaking
Martin is a multi-award winning filmmaker, writer and journalist. His films have screened at international film festivals in Cannes, Berlin, Moscow, Locarno and London. He is a producer and screenwriter and one of the directors of the Liverpool-based production company Cinemateca. He is also an expert on modern European thought and has held professorships in universities in Leeds, London and Liverpool. As an education and culture journalist he was nominated as columnist of the year by the British Society of Magazine Editors in 2024.
