Senior Technician, Printed Textiles

I work as a senior technician within the Fashion & Textiles Institute. I specialise in printed textiles and I cover both screen printed and digitally printed fabrics. I studied the Textile Design degree here at Falmouth University graduating in 2012, I then joined the team as a senior technician in 2013. I am currently studying towards my PGCHE.

I am also a self employed designer/maker working across a variety of disciplines. As part of my own design practice I host workshops to enable others to get creative and explore fun and experimental design processes and techniques. 

Clients include - Action on Hearing Loss, Coppafeel!, Wellbeing Enterprises CIC, Open Culture Liverpool, Knee Deep festival, Merrimaking, and Sink the Pink. I have also worked on a variety of collaborations with photographers, magazines and fashion labels

Action on Hearing Loss - Commissioned to design the logo and branding for their 'Decibel Squad' campaign

Wellbeing Enterprises CIC - Commissioned to design a set of prints to promote the 5 steps to mindfulness, and a set of enamel pin badges and t-shirt for their 'Welljoy' packs
