Agnieszka Blonska
Lecturer in Theatre
Agnieszka has a particular interest in subjects of identity, social change and personal story in relation to a society. In her work she involves a variety of forms including participatory and performative theatre exploring the boundaries of traditional understanding of drama and play. Agnieszka applies devising methods and improvisation, often examining deconstruction and non-linear approach to a performance.
Agnieszka works as a lecturer in Theatre at Falmouth University. She holds an MA in Social Sciences with specialization in Anthropology of Culture (Warsaw University) and Post Graduate Diploma in Drama Directing (Bristol Old Vic Theatre School). As a theatre artist Agnieszka is produced by Helen Edwards with support of Theatre Bristol and is an associate artist at Hall For Cornwall. In 2008 Agnieszka was nominated to the Arts Foundation Award for Young Theatre Directors.
