Disruption: Falmouth harbour/docks area

Updated 16:15 - 23.09.26 - Incident resolved. 

The incident regarding an unexploded World War 2 device found in the Falmouth harbour/docks area has been safely resolved. 

We are pleased to confirm that, after a safe removal of the device by emergency services personnel, the evacuation order has also been revoked. All affected residents can now return to their homes. 

We sincerely thank the emergency services for their swift response and actions, as well as our students and staff for their flexibility and understanding during the disruption. 

Falmouth Campus was not affected by the evacuation, and remained open as usual, with timetabled teaching unaffected.
