Emma Dyer

BA(Hons) 3D Design for Sustainability* 2006-2009

Emma works in socially-focused research and design. She is currently a freelance community researcher, studying and working alongside communities to understand their needs. The information she gathers is then used to improve public services and social policy.

At Falmouth Emma was involved in a range of external projects including the Design Council initiative Dott Cornwall. Dott Cornwall (2009-10) was a programme of design-led community engagement projects set up to drive the development of new solutions to social and economic challenges, and involve communities in designing new local services. This experience helped Emma shape her career post graduation.
