Falmouth University is offering scholarships of £3,000 each to residents from the selected countries who are joining us on-campus in September 2026.

Amount: £3,000

Who it's for: Residents of selected countries who are joining a full-time on-campus taught Masters degree starting in September 2026.

This sum will be applied by the University as a credit towards the second instalment of the student's tuition fees. It will be deducted from the total remaining fees payable. 

Please note students can only receive one scholarship each, with the exception of the Sustainable Leader Award, which may be combined with a Country Award. The scholarship does not apply to online courses. 

Residents of the following countries can qualify for an automatic scholarship: 

  • China
  • Colombia 
  • Hong Kong 
  • India 
  • Indonesia 
  • Mexico
  • Taiwan 
  • Turkey 
  • Thailand 
  • USA 

Valid on full-time on-campus taught postgraduate applications for September 2026. 

Eligibility

  • Resident in one of the following countries: China, Colombia, India, Indonesia, Mexico, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, USA 
  • Undertake a full-time on-campus taught postgraduate degree 
  • New to Falmouth University in 2026/27 
  • Self-funding only 
  • Joining the complete course (180 credits) 

There is no separate application form for this scholarship.

Outcome

Eligible students who have already received an offer and have paid their acceptance fee will automatically be awarded the scholarship. The University’s decision relating to Postgraduate Country Awards is final. 

Further information

  • The Postgraduate Country Award cannot be offered in combination with any other Falmouth university scholarships with the exception of the Sustainable Leader Award 
  • A maximum of one Postgraduate Country Award will be awarded per candidate 
  • The scholarship cannot be deferred 

Falmouth University reserves the right to take back the scholarship award if: 

  • We find that you are ineligible 
  • You break the terms and conditions of the scholarship 
  • There is a misrepresentation and fraud in your application 
  • Your course is no longer available 
  • You do not pay all of the tuition fees by the University’s deadlines 
  • The University disciplinary panel upholds a serious misconduct charge 
  • Fail to meet or maintain UK Student Visa requirements
