Faculty Scholarships
Falmouth University is offering scholarships of £5,000 to the most talented undergraduate student joining each of its three Faculties for their first year of study with us in September 2027.

Who it's for: International offer holders paying international fees, applying for a full-time on campus taught undergraduate course, demonstrating exceptional talent.
Students can only receive one scholarship each. The sum will be applied by the University as a £5,000 credit towards the second instalment of the student's tuition fees. It will be deducted from the total remaining fees payable.
The scholarship will be awarded for the first year of study only, it is not a recurring award.
Eligibility
- Qualify for the International tuition fee (it therefore does not include anyone paying UK/Home fees)
- Be a new student to Falmouth University in September 2027
- 2026/2027 deferred/reinstated offer holders may also be considered for the scholarship
- Be financing studies directly or via a loan (sponsored students are not eligible)
- Hold an offer for a full-time undergraduate course studied on campus (not online), starting in September 2027
- Have received an offer by 2 April 2027 at 23:59 GMT
- Have completed the scholarship application by 5 April 2027 at 23:59 GMT
How to apply
All applicants for the Vice Chancellor Scholarship will be automatically considered for this award if applicable. There is no separate scholarship application for the Faculty Scholarships.
Outcome
Eligible offer holders who have received an offer by 23:59 BST on 2 April 2027 and who have submitted their scholarship application by 23:59 BST on 5 April 2027 will be considered for the scholarship.
Each scholarship will be shortlisted based on the following criteria:
- Vice-Chancellor Scholarship application
- Admission review
One scholarship will be awarded to a candidate from each of the following three Faculties:
- Faculty of Design & Culture
- Faculty of Creative Arts & Communication
- Faculty of Screen, Technology & Performance
A reserve list will also be created based on the above criteria.
The International team will inform successful applicants of outcomes by 16 April 2027.
Successful applicants will be able to accept their offer and to claim the scholarship up until 30 April 2027. Accepting an offer includes paying the acceptance fee (deposit) if applicable.
Unsuccessful applicants, including those placed on the reserve list, will be considered for an International Talent Scholarship. No separate application is required.
Unclaimed scholarships will be reallocated according to the reserve list, and recipients will be required to claim their scholarship and to pay any outstanding acceptance fee within 10 (ten) days.
Successful applicants will be contacted by phone and email, using the details as per the address that was provided in their application. Please ensure your phone number (including your country code) appears on your application. The University’s decision relating to Vice-Chancellor Scholarships is final.
Further information:
- As the university only has a limited number of scholarships available, please only make an application if you can afford tuition fees and living costs
- We do not offer full scholarships for September 2027 entry
- The Vice-Chancellor Scholarship cannot be offered in combination with any other Falmouth University scholarships
- The scholarship cannot be deferred.
Falmouth University reserves the right to take back the scholarship award if:
- We find that you are ineligible
- You break the terms and conditions of the scholarship, or the Student Terms & Conditions
- There is a misrepresentation or fraud in your application
- Your course is no longer available
- You do not pay all of the tuition fees by the University’s deadlines
- The University disciplinary panel upholds a serious misconduct charge
- You fail to meet or maintain UK Student Visa requirements
