Naomi Batts
Online Tutor
Naomi is an artist, educator and creative practice researcher. Naomi’s art practice focuses on botanical and natural forms, playing with blurred shapes and overlapping lines. She explores the unpredictability of textured surfaces, using it to disrupt the ‘knowing’ in her work.
She completed her master’s degree in Drawing in 2024. Her research focuses on ways to build fulfilling relationships with creative practice, specifically approaches to rewilding process using elements of antifragility.
Naomi was a chosen speaker for the Illustration Research Symposium in 2019. She began her role at Falmouth University in 2022.
