Hello! I’m Max (they/them), the 2026/27 President for Falmouth University. I’m a Cornish local from Redruth who has just completed my BA(Hons) Fine Art, with a particular interest in textile sculpture, observational sketching, and the written word. Like every local, I love Cornwall, so you’ll often find me on the beach or in the woods soaking in the lovely scenery, sketchbook in hand.
Having come from an underclass background, I am passionate about affordability. My priority this year is to address how the cost-of-living crisis is affecting students by lobbying the government for student loan reform. My time at Falmouth University has been the best 3 years of my life so far, and I want all students to feel like they can enjoy their university experience without having to worry so much about money.
