Kathryn Levick
AMATA Youth Ballet Tutor
Kathryn trained professionally at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts before undertaking the three-year Teacher Training Course at the Royal Academy of Dance, where she was awarded the prestigious Licentiate of the Royal Academy of Dance (LRAD).
She is a fully Registered Teacher with the RAD and a Licensed Silver Swans® Teacher. With more than three decades of experience teaching ballet, Kathryn has worked with students of all ages and abilities, from young children taking their first ballet steps through to vocational students, adults and older learners.
Kathryn is passionate about creating a supportive and inspiring learning environment, encouraging dancers to develop strong technical foundations alongside confidence, musicality and artistry. She is committed to nurturing each student's individual potential while fostering a positive, inclusive and enjoyable approach to dance education.
Kathryn successfully founded and led her own dance school for over 30 years, developing a thriving environment where dancers can progress and flourish. She has extensive experience preparing students for Royal Academy of Dance examinations, choreographing performances and mentoring dancers throughout their training. She has a proven track record of preparing students for full-time vocational training, with graduates progressing to prestigious dance colleges and professional careers in the performing arts.
