Lecturer, Documentary & Editorial Photography

My work as a photographer is rooted in classic photojournalism but since then I have developed a more contemporary documentary approach with emphasis on the landscape genre, which I explored during my MA Photography and the Land in 2010.

Before starting a career in teaching in 2011, I acquired experience in the publishing industry as a picture editor/researcher. Further qualifications in layout and web design enable me to facilitate a useful crossover to disciplines relevant to a wider context within the photographic practice.

I am a lecturer on the BA(Hons) Documentary & Editorial Photography course, teaching mainly on theoretical but also practical modules across all three years.
