The Making Waves Challenge 2024

Making Waves
Making Waves: Creative Competition 2024

This creative challenge is open to students studying in Years 9, 10, 12 or 13. Your task is to create an original and eye-catching piece of art, in the medium of your choosing, that reflects our chosen theme:

Ocean Ambassadors: Sustainability and the Sea

You can create a digital or physical piece of art – anything from ceramics to photography to textiles – the choice is yours!

The artwork will be judged by leading creative academics and experts from Falmouth University. They will be looking for a work that expresses the theme in an exciting and thought-provoking way, one that tells your unique story and relationship with our oceans.

An exhibition of winning entries will be held in conjunction with our graduate showcase as part of our Community Day in May (keep an eye on our website and social media accounts for more details!)
