Students enter the Dragons' Den

It's been absolutely fantastic to see how strong the skillsets of entrepreneurship are present throughout all of the courses at the university.

Students have pitched their business ideas to a panel of dragons as they competed for a share of £5000 at Falmouth University's very own Dragons' Den.
The event was created by Falmouth's employability service RealWORKS to help students refine their pitching skills, build their business acumen and acquire funding for their proposals.
The panel of dragons included Vice Chancellor Anne Carlisle and three Falmouth alumni who have made names for themselves in their respective sectors.
Grace Sodzi, CEO at PAPER Arts, business finance specialist Rebecca Bettin and Co-Founder and CEO of Data Duopoly Tanuvi Ethunandan all carefully scrutinised the students' business proposals.
George Hardwick, Senior Talent Coach for RealWORKS, was hugely impressed to see entrepreneurial spirit pouring out from departments across the entire university.
"The students have been drawn from literally all over the university; we've had students from the School of Entrepreneurship and students who are on our MA programmes in Comedy Writing.
"It's been absolutely fantastic to see how strong the skillsets of entrepreneurship are present throughout all of the courses at the university."
