This new Fashion and Business Club will be running workshops in Fashion Design, Fashion Styling, Fashion Photography, Fashion Illustration, Fashion Marketing and Fashion Entrepreneurship.

Club members will have the opportunity to create, collaborate and think creatively together around issues of gender, sexuality, body image, sustainability and diversity.

As a club member you will be able to:

  • Discover your talents
  • Develop new skills
  • Grow in confidence
  • Meet like-minded people
  • Learn from industry experts
  • Find out about creative careers

Club members will be taking part in exciting practical workshops on campus and will commit to attending every Saturday during term time. There will also be an end of year trip to London, where all the clubs from across the country assemble to showcase their work.

"I’m thrilled to launch Falmouth’s Fashion and Business National Saturday Club. In my current role as a Senior Lecturer within the Fashion & Textiles Institute, helping to nurture and support a new generation of young creative talent is always an amazing experience! I’m so excited for NSC members to get a taste of what it’s like to learn with us. Experimenting with textiles, making fashion and costume collections, shooting and styling fashion looks on a photo set or creating new ways to be future fashion marketing and business visionaries are just some practical workshop sessions you’ll experience with us. Sign up and let's get creating!"
- Philip Scurrah, Senior Lecturer
